Samantha March: Book Number Three

I am very excited that I have started the plans for the book #3. I feel like I’m going to be very challenged with this experience, as this story will be totally different from Destined to Fail and The Green Ticket. There will be two POV’s, there will be death, and the setting is one I am unfamiliar with – Maine. My first books are set in Iowa, which is where I currently live, and I have never – not even once – been to Maine. It’s just a state that I have on the top of my States to Visit list, so I thought – why not set a book there?

I started plotting the story when The Green Ticket was with my editor. I got the overall storyline and plot figured out, and started building my two main characters. After the release of The Green Ticket, I revisited my plans and started doing more research on Maine. Now...I feel ready to start writing! After the first of the year I will officially deem myself in “writer life” which is where I give myself daily writing goals five days a week until my book is finished. I am so excited to start writing that I almost jumped the gun a few times, but I’m very dedicated to building my characters and making sure I understand my setting before I start writing. I’m very excited to share this story and to challenge myself along the way!
