Summary:  Melanie Porter has been dumped-again. When others accuse her of "being in love with being in love," she agrees to let her best friend, Patti, step in and direct her dating life with The Boyfriend Bylaws.

Review:  Melanie Porter is 28-years-old, her parents are divorced, and she is a fitness trainer at Totally Fit.  In the beginning of the book, we see how she's all giddy about her most current fling, Brad.  When she professes her love to Brad, he bolts.  Her friends accuse her of being in love with being in love; it makes sense to me.  Anyway, her roommate, Patti, who she's been knowing since Junior High, comes up with these boyfriend bylaws that Melanie MUST follow; if she doesn't, she might as well kiss her car goodbye.  This book was okay, but there were just some elements that didn't sit well with me; for example, I understand trying to help a friend, but at times it just seemed like Patti was being a tad bit overbearing.  It was a cute story, but it was short…I was expecting more.
